SCHOOL PROGRAMS
Learning through kindness
Hands of Gratitude school based programs are customized to the curriculum, objectives and circumstances of each participating school, class or club. From service learning to camp activities, we work with you to host programs that engage students and demonstrate empathy in action.
In each program, students will learn about the crises of those effected by limb difference around the world. They will work together to assemble prosthetics for individual recipients, whose name, story and photo they will be given. Personalized cards and drawings are included with the prosthetic, to be delivered on trips arranged through the Hands of Gratitude Project, a 501(c)3 organization.
Over the past 15 years, Hands of Gratitude Programs have been hosted by schools across the country, with many students continuing their involvement with the project.
